I have a 12 volt electric fuel pump on my Ferret.....I pump gas pedal about 4-5 times and starts right off......

Can anyone say why this resistor goes bad from just sitting besides old age?

Would it have been better if a trickle battery charger is left on?

WOW !!! What a beauty.........Sponsors !!!!!!!! I would like to have a couple of retired master mechanics from the British or Canadian Army for about a month for my Ferret...LOL...It would be great if they could relocate to my neighborhood....

In my Ferret so far i have found about 15 spent 7.62 shells..Ammo links...Nuts,bolts,washers of various sizes..1 one socket....No gold coins or diamond rings so far............

Thanks Andy..Already did...That is one that Colin didn't have information on.....I hope some day maybe one of the Soldiers that drove it would have a pic but that is hoping for a lot....Ordered new tyres today for my Ferret which is now in a warm little garage on jack stands...Joe..Man I love these things....

Anyone with pics or info about Canadian Army Ferret 54-82586 would be greatly appreciated...I recently purchased it and I have it now in Illinois near Chicago..Still looking for Ferret owners nearby...Thank you..

OP looks like your really having fun..........I am very happy for you......To have all those support people truly is special...Tell one of your master mechanics there are some houses for sale near me.......I am into history if I had the money I would buy a Sherman or Hellcat..But I truly am satisfied with my little Ferret scout car........Please keep us posted on what you get with maybe a video!!!!
