  3. Right here is the law

1/ Jack is coming.....because it will be a life changing experience

2/ He approached me and told me he wanted to come !

3/ Lloyd sorts it all out.....with the unit c/o everybody happy

4/ Jack tries to get out of it by claiming he actually HAS NO KIT at all

5/ Worldwide kit search begins for Jack akin to Live -Aid

6/ Jack claims temporary insanity and forgetting all about avctually wanting to come at all

7/ excuses of Left the kettle on/getting hair done/ dinner in the oven/its cold/what shall i wear and my hairs still in curlers..vehemently denied

8/ More excuses follow as Jack actually realises there is a 25km march

9/ Lloyd curtly cuts short Jack saying it actually will be FUN !!!

10/ Can hear Jack crying from here...and i am 200 miles away...:-)

11/ Lloyd assures Jack that driver of half -track is not blind and needs a guide

12/ All Half tracks will be secure so no one needs to look after them while you all go for a little walk in the snowy Belgian countryside

  5. OK here goes...IT IS NOT ILLEGAL......:-) only stipulation "plod" has is that the jeep has a cable attached braking system attached to the existing brake circuit of the Jeep so that you can have rear wheel braking...

we have A framed our jeeps THOUSANDS of miles......with no problems

also dont forget to disconnect the speedo.... :?

of course there is another way to do it LEGALLY

have someone sit in the driver seat of the jeep whilst its being towed.... :shake:

The time period we are portraying is December 17th 1944 in the fateful 2 days between the first german attacks and the time the 101st Airborne was sent to re enforce the town.

The 10th Armored Division covered and held all points eastwards to Bastogne with such ferocity that it blunted the nazi spearheads and stopped them in their tracks with scratch blocking teams Desobry/Cherry and O Hara.

So much so they were immortalised as the Stone of Bastogne...but unfortunatley the 101st airborne being the more famous unit claimed all the glory.

We are going to set about changing peoples perception of the 10th armored division

and with 9 half tracks and 120 CORRECTLY dressed armored infantryman we hope to bring the town to a standstill.....:-)

Its being done with the auspices of the 10th armored verterans association......

    SO LETS JUST GO.....

    regards

    Lloyd
