    I have one for sale at £10,500 ono.......see classifieds.

     

    I dont think thats too bad if anyone wants a GOOD jeep......not a "pure" one but right and running strongly.

     

    I think its the time of year as i have had a lot os questions but no buyers....:-(

    Having said that, as we got close to completing the restoration (no hood, no windshield, lights not all functional, etc...) we decided to give it a spin up the road - check the gears, clutch, brakes, etc... We NEVER see Police where I live (country lanes & the like), but as fate would have it they were about that day. After a quick 'reminder' of road regulations, the officer wanted the full info on this 'as new' MB!!

    Had a good day too....searching out some dodge bits and pieces also sold some stuff....brought some US WW2 bits and bobs........for my boy.A copy of Pathfinder magazine......only cos i am IN IT.....:-)

     

    Generally a good day......anyone notice the unusual amount of Deacts appearing....are we getting jittery regards new deac laws......

     

    and what was this Free the Dallas 3 malarkey.......???

    Guys you DONT need to take your H test in a 432...i took mine on a Track Marshall Crawler ......round a farm yard..even though now i only use my H to drive WW2 tanks.

     

    as long as its a tracked vehicle...steered by rods.....and its tracks..and the tester can come to you at a recognised place of testing..

     

    the tester/examiner set up a route and a traffic cone "course" and 1 hour later i qualified.

    I reckon you are right mate...i reckon its a "ruse" as Lord Beckett of Wessex has in fact got 4 of them in a barn and all he is doing is surropticiously "shill" bidding in order to up the price....!!!!

     

    and little old me has got money to spend but cant find owt!!!!!

    Good isnt it....;-) we dont do things by half our unit.......next year we are going to the Czech Republic to Pilzen and Pisek for the 65th anniversary of the end of the war
