I hate to be awkward, but the UK government can't reinterpret a piece of existing EU legislation, so this will just get the same response the earlier petition did.

 

It would be far more use to petition the government to support Vicky Ford's proposed amendment 19 to the EU firearms proposals: "Deactivated firearms should not be covered by this Directive if they have been deactivated in accordance with Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2403 or in accordance with prior national standards and procedures recognised as resulting in the firearms being rendered permanently unfit for use, inoperable and incapable of being converted into functioning firearms."

It is worth considering that not everyone here is British, not everyone lives in Britain. The point surely is to discuss the legislation, and not the value of the EU, nor to devalue the opinions of EU citizens nor those living elsewhere.

I suppose if one does not want to join Facebook, then it is rather like me living in Poland and being unwilling to make the visit to Bovingdon - it is my choice, but I would not want to make anyone else unhappy because of my choice.

I suppose the time might come when forums may also naturally evolve into smartphone technologies that also happen to work on desktops

I assume that you used a phone camera? Some seem to remember the orientation you held the camera, without storing that information in the picture file itself in a way that is recognised on the internet.

I was looking at those 7 spoke wheels and finned exhaust manifold as well. The front of the cab seems very flat, with none of that curved edges to the metal part you often see.

What, though, is that lump of metal sitting on the front with a crank handle?

Good, I would have been surprised if you hadn't because you are meticulous, but I thought I should ask. I am a bit worried that it has been losing fluid for a while, suggesting that the leak has been there for a while or that it might have lost water and locally overheated.

That is a bit unfortunate!

I would be surprised if it was the radiator cap that failed - if the spring were that strong it would probably burst the radiator long before the head gasket.

Is there any chance that the head was not torqued down enough after its first run? I cannot remember whether you mentioned doing it or not?

Now I have looked closer, I can see differences as well, but do we know that that any of the development photos show its final form? I can see that the wheels on the 77 mm gun version have some kind of protection bar across them that I cannot see on the range tank.

Ah, I was wondering whether spares were included, although I kind of assumed that one could 'lose' the requisite spares in various governments warehouses. Still, maybe it is better to sacrifice some spares to fill up the gaps before applying whatever system was used to lay concrete on top of them? Sounds quite reasonable to me.

I just wonder what kind of spares they might have been?
