  1. I think the clue is in the Essex title of the show. In Estuary English " Paanda", to give it its correct spelling is the Essex equivalent of the Home Counties "Pownder"

     

    Is that 'pownder' as in 'own'?

  2. Hi Dan, I suspect that the temperatures might go way beyond the limits of Belzona, and it is a pretty tough environment in the cylinder with its pressure waves, combustion, scraping and so on.

     

    However, if you happened to know someone with a similarly pitted engine of no particular value that you could try it on, I would be interested to see the results. :)

  3. Ah, so that also answers my other question of how the spare wheel was held on. So if I have got it right there is long bolt, that can fold down, and the wheel retaining plate fits in those clips when the spare wheel is not in place? Presumably there is enough room to tweak the wing nut tight to stop the retaining plate from jumping out of the clips when driving without the spare wheel in place.

     

    When we see the work you are doing it is hard to appreciate how much research you are doing in the background! :)
