  1. Hi mark that looks nice mate, u can't spray either... Lol! In quite surprised how rollering comes out, looking forward to the trailer pictures.
  2. All good to no, I've seen people just slap paint straight on with no rubbing down at all, it must flake with in a week!
  3. We normally spray, never have been one for brush painting but it doesn't look that bad?, we normally rub down as much as we can then apply paint, if it needs shot blasting it gets it, but some just slap the paint straight on, just curios of how other people paint there vehichles, bill.

  5. Having heard that you need to take the engine out to sort this problem, is there no other way of doing this?, I haven't yet checked the back core plug on mine.

  7. Sorry mike didn't mean to waste your time, if you do have some hooks, I will have them as I only have the ones that go on the bottom of the body but not the top, thanks mate.

Had a long day with the brakes, rebuilt the master cylinder, connected it etc and could get no brake fluid to come out to bleed the brakes, so of again and had a look and it seems that the plunger that's on the servo is not pushing in enough through the master cylinder, it can be done manually just not with the pedal asif it's missing an extension that connects to the servo?, would anyone no?, thanks bill
  11. Thanks rick, just looking inside and out, I wouldent no we're to start on a restoration, hats of too you and the other members that have a crack at these wartime tanks!
  12. All steam cleaned, looks a lot different, will be on milweb shortly as I have to finish my other projects.
  13. I'm looking for these?, anyone have any for sale?, I also now of a canvas and hoops but the canvas needs some eyelets put in, how would I do that?, bill.
  14. Trevor, the first tap was to big, so john kindly sent another one which was bigger, that's to big now!, the rad needs resoldering we're the bottom hose connects so once it's out I'll have a better look and see. bill.

Master cylinder rebuilt & painted, trying to get all the little bits done ready to be fitted, I'm hopefully going to get the hoops and canvas soon,I needed a radiator tap so ordered one from john Morter he said theres one big one & one little one it could be either? I bought both and they don't fit! Will I have to re-do the tread?.
