  1. I would like to see a Saladin register!!! I have 04CC45 and I'm restoring 01CC48 And I'm always looking for bits!!!! I know of 5 other Saladin's over in the US, we think there are only 7 or 8 over here. Cheer's James

  5. Hi Doug; Thank you for that information, it clears up some of the mystery,because the engine data plate has a 1983 service date on it. I have the records for it but they only go back to 1969 andstates it was in the 4RTR. Will post pictures and data in new thread. Thank again and for any other history you can find. Regards James

  8. I'm the one doing the work on it, Skip was helping locate one. The problem is the Ferret started popping the 30 amp relay breaker. After tracing the AUX POS wire to the front control panel I thought the problem was there, then found out if I put light switch in convoy or any position to the right the breaker would hold. So that tells me brake lights disable. Pull POS wire from brake light relay and all was good. It looks like the contacts welded together. I read that these are on ebay? Ours was in pretty bad shape can't read number anyone have a number for it? Thanks all. James

  10. Here's what I made for Saladin, should work for Ferret if you can find flex pipe that's small enough.

  13. Hello ; I'm looking for the field repair manual for the VRC-353, I have the field repair test kit but really looking for a manual, have looked up on VMARS sight but it is not down loadable.   14. Priceless!!!! OOOps sorry was to warn out after that job couldn't type or spell......:nut: I have been working between on 2 Ferret's and then the Saladin! It's been a long weekend. Everything you said about the brake system in correct and yes I have the info on O-rings I will get that up here to day. As for making the other seals I'm still waiting for info on that.
  15. That's the brake tool for adjusting the brakes, had it make from an original one that a guy in the UK had. Thing is price-list.
