  1. Mr Craig, Let me knock the ball back in your court (watching beach volley ball - olympic) I was very surprised that they (the gov) let these be sold without a demill order - we cant buy surplus amour here in the states. These have no amour but the gov here in the states is scared of their own shadow. In recent surplus sales they have had demill orders on stripped cabs from these types of vehicles so I to was surprised to see them without demill. I manufacture firearms for a living - ITAR is a joke. Now back to you guys in England - You can buy tanks and APC's yet not a pistol or rifle - whats up with that. Thank god you guys can buy that stuff though - so we can bring it over here to play with too. There is a rear section that has a drop side bed and retractable crane - on my list. Title and tags shouldnt be a problem Planning on a trip to the War and Peace show in 2013 - hope to meet some of you guys. Walter Keller

GPMG yes (same as MAG58 or M240 ?) would rather have 1919 mount since I have acouple here. Does someone have a picture of the GPMG installed in the turret? One last thing - Sold to Philanderdia in 95 is that a British company?

  17. Robin, Yes Sean did do that. I have to wrap up another "project" before I dig into the ferret. A CJ750 that was supposed to be "rebuilt" thats a whole different story. Walter
  18. My Enfield appears to be a parts gun - 1940 date on the frame and 42 on top of the barrel. Frame is blued barrel is painted. It works fine and all parts are tight fitting so I am happy.
  19. Last week I bought this 1940 Enfield pistol and had a couple three questions 1.On the back of the grip frame POL LUN is this short for Police London? 2. Was the Enfield pistol used with a Ferret? 3. Was the bobbed hammer double action only model used by tankers?
  20. I live in Safety Harbor Florida - on a map look at the top of Tampa Bay. Thanks for the kind welcome - can't wait to get the Ferret rolling on its own power and rearmed with a 1919A4 - Looking for a 1919 mount too.
  21. Before the holidays I purchased my first British MV - Ferret Mk2/3 - It is in decent shape all things considered even though its not running. Other vehicles I own - 81' 712 Pinzgauer, M151a2, M35A2C, M274 Mule, CJ750 and last but not least a 1994 Hyster 4,000lb military forklift. I will be asking many questions in the near future.
  22. I will be asking questions during the process of getting her running - First I would like to get a copy of the records on this vehicle - the UN colors have me interested. Where do I request that info from? Thanks Walter
