this is all nonsense and begs the questions
why pay for an obsolete vehicle when the UK MoD is giving them to you for nothing?
where do you get ammo for 76 and 30mm?
I find it a little suspicious that numerous individuals and fresh 'charities' are begging for cash so they send overpriced obsolete vehicles to a country that has its own massive arms industry, can easily use captured kit (cause its the same as theirs) and has the big nations falling over themselves to give them the latest cutting edge weapons.
some would call it profiteering....

I somehow doubt it was toughened glass, once it has been heat treated at the factory it is almost impossible to cut or drill due to the built in stresses. What you have is most likely laminated glass, a sandwich of two glass sheets with a plastic centre core.
had a new toughened screen made for a stolly by a glass firm in Ashford Kent-it was definitely toughened

wow! 432 road wheels, rear idler, top rollers, early rr B80 engine, looks like a very early pre selector gearbox. Be nice to see what differential/steering mechanism it has.
You can see how this would have evolved into the 432 range of vehicles

poor Nick,
claims he is not profiteering, but is selling the Ukrainians spartans at £85000 each, and has made £8000000 (that's right, £8 million) in twelve months.....oh, and don't forget the 5 bars of gold at say, £662,000 per bar =£11,310,000

they look to be a very early spec, and at 500,000 euro each, the upgrades alone will cost many times that. Are those early amx/strausslers in the shed?

Russia says Britain's tanks 'will burn' in Ukraine (msn.com)
The thought does occur to me that these will be priority targets for Putin
absolutely-should our CR2 be penetrated or destroyed we can kiss goodbye to the Chally's excellent track record. UK mod will be rubbished, and the Russian arms industry will get a huge boost. Bad move.

oh for a crystal ball back then.

but not many youths have £52000 to spend on an entry level cvrt.....

with the demise of w&p, withams out of the game, covid, and the rapid reduction of disposable income, asking excessively high prices, rules out 'fresh blood' entering the hobby. and will only add to its decline

what things are advertised for and what they actually sell for are two different things!

Next to the Battle Of Britain memorial at Capel Le Fern, there is a parcel of land with what appears to be some deep shafts
Any ideas what was here?
