  1. That sure looks like the same light to me!
  2. so it looks like that spotlight is kind of a universal Israeli spotlight? Now I just needs some leads on where to find one. Didn't Adrian restore a M50 back to world war 2 spec? and the Budge collection used to have an M50 I think, but not sure if it had the light on it
  3. Hi guys, looking for a spotlight for our Israeli M50 Sherman project, I figure so many of them were stripped of their stowage and made to look like WW2 US tanks again their must be a lot of Israeli modifications in the scrap bin. Any idea who made these lights and if they were mounted on only the M50 or were they on other Israeli AFV's ? Any info or leads is appreciated.
  4. I am fortunate to have one of the surviving Jumbo Shermans, it is need of total restoration but has been identified as #77 of the 254 built and carries serial # 50402 and according to Don Moriarty would have had USA registration # 3082999. It is featured on page 139 of Pat Ware's M4 Sherman workshop manual. She is in tough shape but after seeing what Roger Condron has been able to do with #254, I have hope that one day she will roll again. I have simply been aquiring parts for her for about 3 years including a low mile and running GAA, all NOS suspension as well as lots of internal and external parts. If anyone has info on the whereabouts of any "Jumbo" specific parts I would really appreciate the assistance.
  5. Steve you're a wild man! Where was the Stuart coming from this time?
  6. Thanks guys I will start a new thread in the restoration section when we finally get cracking! JD
  7. I have been collecting bits for it for some time, this one came from a US Army firing range and it is one of two we were lucky enough to acquire, it came with a good set of steel tracks and a turret. It is am M4A3 and has the remains of a badly shot up GAA engine still in the engine bay. What we did not get was any gun parts, barrel or mantlet. so as always if anyone can lend a hand tracking down any parts it would be greatly appreciated. I hope to call on Adrian B's crazy fab skills for tanks and turret basket when the time comes! I will post pictures of the M4A3E2 Jumbo we also purchased from the same collector, who would probably not want me posting his name on here for privacy sake. This is M4A3E2 Assault tank #77 or "Jumbo" as it has become affectionately known. One of only 250 or so ever produced.
  8. Here is mine on the way home last week....lots of work ahead
