ok after another brake line has gone us on me i am planning to change the lot over to the pvc air lines does anyone have the diamater of lines i need to get and what is the best way to secure the pvc lines in to the fittings collors or inserts

not to bad a event quiet due to weather i think but varied selection of traders met a few forum members and had a few stop and chat so 50/50:)

i havnt a clue its just got invited to do a display there there is a flee market on at the same time so check which bit you are going to

seems like a lot of people dont know about it inside the main building at detling showground think doors open 10 ish

having a guess they want more money than the 1 on the auction site as saying my bid to low and not going over the others price for 1 without speedo or steering wheels thanks to those that had a look for me

ok after much debating had decided to change my bedford back to a gs body after the weight with the radio body and equipment i was carrying was so close to its limit :-Xfirst truck went to freinds to remove the radio body and when got back to eastbourne started to fit sides which burain of the forum bought down for me and the heavans opened so being a true ex squaddie carried on regardless:cool2: when starting to put canvas on needed to turn truck around because wind started to blow everywhere and nearly had a flying tilt but eventually got everything on and this morning wonderfull sunshine and discovered a few leaks so got some waterseal and sprayed canvas so hopefully no leaks now photos start with flat bed then go on to final view today:bow:

latest update all fittings work after putting wires wrong way round light came on so now just have to wire 1 juntion box direct to a set of leads to connect to battery

ok got the set here and started trying all diffrent combinations of wires and still nothing but bulbs work in a penthouse light which is the same tube have traced the manufacures to surrey and suppliers to abtus ltd haverhill so next question is to them if they have a workshop/operating manual for the bl***Y things :nut:there are no switches that i can find on them so having a guess they are on all the time 1 thing i did find was plugs are marked as bl plugs which is why strange fittings

iwill be having another look tommorow when i strip out the hard body off the truck ready to convert it back to a gs truck will see if there are any switches on them or if the cable is wired wrong

i have a spare mk tyre that was took off a mk rim its a bartread and is located in eastbourne you can have for free if you want it would need a innertube and split rim
