  2. At the Bournemouth Aviation Museum we have a Queen Mary Trailer that needs a new home as we have run out of space it is available for viewing please email stevetydeman@yahoo.co.uk for more details. It is in a fair condition viewing reccomended.

  6. Just an update this Sundays Military Vehilce and Cockpit Day at the Bournemouth Aviation Museum is open to the public from 10am. We have space for any vehicles that would like to arrive on the day but please do so by 09:30 or you will have to park with the outside display.   10. Excellent photos! You have some great gear we have gone for 1985 so our Kit is going to be all 85 pattern. I think Forces 80 are fantastic they have potential of huge displays. Im hoping our Regiment will grow with time. Its still early stages for us but were pleased with the way its heading. It was our first War and Peace this year still recovering from such an amazing week. We will be back next year will try and meet up so we can compare notes! Cheers Steve
  11. I'm glad you liked the website I enjoy it as its nice to look back on what we've achieved and good to share photos with others. If you do start one yourself I would be interested in having a look so be sure to send me the link. What shows have you attended this year? Im always keen to speak with other Landrover owners and enjoy 80s set ups. A generator is a good Idea Terry in our Regiment has one and we use it to set up a flood light over our display at night and really helps. I think once you have a couple of Landys and 9X9s your half way there!   13. Hi Mark, Thanks for the Welcome The Forces 80 Website is fantastic! It looks as if youve had a busy year. I see your at Broadlands, Romsey at the weekend not far from me. Im not sure Ill be able to have a look as were at another event just a few miles away. Do you have any photos of Landrovers in the late 70s/early 80s as Ive been struggling to find some? Ive attended the following shows with the Landrover so far this year: Bournemouth Aviation Museum Vintage Transpor Day Westbury Gathering Trucks and Troops Duxford Canford Arena Yeovilton Airshow Lepe beach War and Peace I am the founder of the 118th signals Regiment http://118thsignalsregiment.blog.co.uk/2010/07/27/war-and-peace-9052718/We are always looking for 1980s Vehicles to join us and were a Friendly Bunch please get in touch!   17. Hi im Steve co-organiser with Mark of the Military Vehicle and Cockpit Day and we would be delighted if you could attend on the 26th September. Below is the General details: We have visiting Military Vehicles and Aircraft Cockpits coming from other Museums with the Military Vehicle Trust on display, also 118th Signals Living History Group A great chance to see Re-enactors and Living History displays from the Second World War up to the present day. The RAF Hurn group will be displaying information about the Airfield during WWII, Tank Museum might be attending with a vehicle and the New Forest Airfield Association will be on site. Were hoping the Vulcan to the Sky will be bringing a stall as well. We have asked for a BBMF flypast but nothing has been confirmed as yet. There will be trade stands selling Militaria and of course you can see our own Aircraft collection and visit our shop, food outlets and children's entertainment will be available on site so great day out for all the family! All this just for the usual £4 for adults, £2 5-16 yrs old, £1.50 3-4yrs old and free for under 3s. If you would like to display a vehicle or have a Trade Stand please contact: stevetydeman@yahoo.co.uk or bizfreeq@yahoo.co.uk You can set up your display Saturday if its easier and there are a few campsites/Hotels near the museum.
