  2. Many thanks for the nice comments, we just followed the other boys and helped out where we could, apparently there were only about 4 or 5 car drivers:drive: that became a bit agitated :angry most of them appreciated the situation of trying to keep a convoy of that magnitude moving . An amazing day!!! Ian.
  3. Hello folks, scrambled some bits of video together that Alanis took from the back of my bike. If they bring back great memories and put a smile on your face, it was "wellworth" it,:cheesy: (Ooops!!!, sorry about that) , hope you enjoy, Ian, Alanis.
  4. Thought I would upload this one on its own as I think it may be worthy of a few captions ????:cool2:
  5. Hello young Duj, up and running and still have`nt landed from the weekend, have spoke and sorted Carl out for Sat at Evesham. Catch you on the dog, Ian.:cool2:
  6. Many thanks Andy, yes I suppose I`d better go and earn some bronwie points !!!!! All the best , Ian
  7. Hi Nigel, many thanks indeed and likewise really enjoyed it back together amongst other DR`s, it just gives you such a buzz!!!!, Alanis keeps asking me if there`s any news on the next one. Yes that HT lead got rather warm and found the one nut on my carb stud had become less than finger tight, no wonder the old girl was running lean and playing up but popped an extra thick bakealite spacer on anyway. I`ll go through my pics from Normandy last year and see if I can find any of the boys, best regards, Ian.
  8. Hello folks, after such a great weekend down in Dorset thought I`d better get my backside into gear and register on the forum. Have been following the progress of the Armour and Emarkation event, just like counting down the days to a holiday and certainly proved to be worth all that time and organisation. So a big pat on the back to Jack and his right hand men, through to the cooks and everyone else involved, absoloutely superb. Great to be on board, Ian.:-D
