not trying to be picky but: brass has a anodic index of 0.40 v, low alloy steel a index of 0.85 v in a outdoor environment the ideal would be a anodic index of 0.15 v or less so dissimilar / galvanic corrosion can occur . paul.:cool2:

reading it again on page 7 of doc suggest to me that ferret might be still be exempt because it is not based on a hgv style chassis but the point is we need a vehicles of historic interest exemption.

reading thru it it seems to be aimed at commercial operators of hgvs, hobbyists do not seem to be thought about at all ,no surprise there ,this is where the clubs etc should be getting the message across about our concerns may be they are, there just not telling us.

Get sending emails phone calls etc. their after us, ever by design or ignorance this is what my 30 odd quid to imps should be paying for representation to these bodies.

i have left a phone message with the secretary of imps about this i spoke to vosa today on this matter and got impression that UNLESS people got in touch with dvla/ vosa it will go ahead .
