Now where have seen this Loyd before............?
Of course ! I do belive that it was mine. It was sold to Ron Truscott and then it went to
Holland or Belgium in the early 1990's
No oil leak then.

No its not the same tank, this one is in direct line of sight from Charlie High.
The other is more to the east.

That 432 was in the way, it obscured the veiw of the public seeing the event......

They were made as a 'foreigner' by one of the young (at the time) men who was involved
with me in the restoration. From memory they were both folded and fabricated.

I was interested.........
I was to put a vehicle in this auction, they knew about it but could not be bothered to let
me know that it was to be cancelled. I had to phone up and find out what was happening, that was when I was informed, not best pleased.

Actually, they can ask you to leave and call the police is that is refused. In cases like these I just try to be inconspicuous with my small camera, never had trouble.

Let them.......
When police arrive, go quietly.

So we are in a Museum and we take a photograph say of a aeroplane or tank.
However photography is not permitted and an attendant or official of the Museum turns up.
What is he (or she) to do ? Confiscate your camera ? How; rip it out of your hand ? Ask for your name and address ? Call the Police ? Make you leave; how?
They have no powers whatsoever.
Being a bolshy sort of chap I would relish this confrontation.

I had a chap called McGregor e-mailing me wanting to buy the item I had for sale.
It was my FV432 Mk5..............'
You can have fun with these people. One had a Ferret for sale so I asked him if the 'autovac'
was in good order as they are very troublesome on the B60's. Of course it was, he had just replaced it at the last service..........idiots

Where do you live ?
I ask because I may be getting one to do some horrific de-activation work before it goes to
the USA.
My place is very close to Junction 24, M6 south of Wigan
You will be welcome
