  1. I'm confused, do you need a tachograph (to record driver's hours) or a tachometer (RPM)?

  4. About 12 years ago, in one of the sheds at the washdown point by the control tower at Long Valley was an civilian registered wrecker, exactly the same as the Foden, but with a Scammell S26 cab.

  6. Hi, I was a Royal Engineers fitter from 1989 to 1997. I spent most of my time attached to REME wksps as part of the FRT looking after C vehicles, as well as helping out on B vehicles when necessary. Much of my time was spent on graders, Muirhills, Coles cranes, TTTT, Iveco MDTs, Hydrema's, D6s, 8230Bs, Volvo and Case shovels, rollers etc. The list goes on! It's a shame there doesn't seem to be so much plant here, or maybe I just haven't found it yet. Regards, Andrew
