no it grately appreciated, the contents of me belt kit are 4 slr mags all of which strangely have the 4x2 stuffed between them! my E & E pouch has my survival tin, various rations again all of which are "noise proofed" and sat in a mess tin, the 58 water bottle carrier has dressings, cleaning kit for the slr and most importantly the obligatory yorkie!! i'll take some more pics!! but again many thanks for comments, i will be taping up swivels, how ever much i want to get it 100% right i cant bring me self to take stuff of the slr....yet.. i agree on the wood though, just in midst of locating the final bits!!!

incidently anyone know what the buttoned flap is for on the left shoulder of me N.I body armour?

Right several years ago i was a member of a ww2 re-enactment group, as a conciquence i ended up with quite a bit of kit. Now having sold off most of my deacs and uniforms i find my self left with a MGC MP40 AND A B/F Glock both of which i cant sell (as i understand it) as i'm no longer a member of a group nor are they a luminous colour! My question is how the hell can i sell them on and be on the happy side of the law? Can i sell them to members of a re-enactment group legally? In a bit of a quagmire me thinks!!! cheers people!!! james:tup::

wrongly or rightly i've always reffered to them as 22nd!

What a smart young man he looks to! As mentioned that lad has potential to be a soldier of tommorrow, and he gets a hat off from me! He has probably more knowledge on correct weapon procedures and handling than the entire renault army. I myself was in the cadets and have a collection of DEACTIVATED weapons but still treat them as though they are live, i.e dont point them!! especially at the back of "retreating" foreign nations.. (couldn't resist sorry!) I have a 5 year old daughter who even now at her age knows the basics of safety, which i dont see as a bad thing from a young age she has satisfied her curious mind and is safe around them. Any way rant over, Lee well done there! full credit to yourself. wish i had a arwen!
