  2. yep we have a facebook page with our piccys on etc and a normal web page which is work in progress dont know how to do a linky thing for face book one, but type in "combined operation" and it pops up, what we have decided to do for the shows we attend is that if some one like yourself wanted to turn up and display for one show then we just slot you into the display. that way every one benifits. heres the web page link http://combinedoperations.proboards.com/

  7. i know you are still planning for next yrs show, but 2012 being the 30th anniv of the falkands and your groups wagons having the connection have you thought about making this a "falkands show" im sure the other british army living history group "forces 80" and our selves would be able to put on some kind of center piece display between us. we intend to use our display at your event next yr as bit of a dry run for our falklands display. i know its still 2yrs ish away but i know these things take time to plan, cheers darren

  16. i give up, got some to work then my brian stooped working, plann b going to buy a new lead and plug
  17. an for todays trick i am going torewire the nato plug on the trailer that got ripped of:D
  18. well we appear to have got away with it re wired it today and no problems. i will describe the scene, the big thick wire comesfrom the genny/alt runs into a box behind the drivers seat bulkhead, this ones has all the very expensive looking bits in ( this one was fine.) another very thick wire goesfrom this box acrossthe rear bulkhead and intoanother box beghind the pass seat bulkhead this wire was fine. the problem wire was the one that goes from the pass side box, out under the rover and across the front bulkhead in the engine bay, this one shorted out on the box and where it went through the floor. the bit in the engine bay melted a few wires in the process, however we were able to recreate the missing wires, except the 2 ampmeter gauges and every thing runs ok. weleft it running under observation for a good hour with no ill effects, tommrrow is a day of super insulating every dammn power cable. dodged a bullet there me thinks
