  1. Interesting Lauren can you expand on that for me?
  2. Is that a question or have you lost direction Roy? But anyway its not a compass.
  3. Interesting idea Andy but its not that.
  4. Often an advantage coming in late & you can sometimes pick up on what has said or not said. Yes receives signals
  5. Thought you were going to say in long grass skirts, but its not a beacon Roy.
  6. Not cables or wires Wally quite the opposite really & no coconuts
  7. Its not that Wally, but the pole is to lift the thing on the right above the local vegetation.
  8. Yes Wally it is Japanese but not broadcasting.
  9. Not demolitions Wally & nor American.
  10. A small element of truth there Roy Yes, no & no
  11. I like it Gary. Sounds a splendid idea but its not that. One British idea for insect control was for men to get soapy hands & go round clapping at insects. The idea was that teams from huts would see who could catch the most mosquitoes. This served three functions. 1. Insect control 2. Stop boredom 3. Increase moral for the winning team I AM being perfectly serious!
  12. Yes we grow & other nations like to harvest it. A major export you know
  13. Oh my! I wasn't expecting that one. That's ingenious but I wouldn't like to stick it up my nose even without the long pole. You say Mk 3. This isn't British if that helps.
  14. For those who like to google, I have just googled the answer & had no direct answer I'm afraid that will lead to this equipment. So you are on your own
  15. No Lee although it looks as if it might be.
  16. Plausible Wally particularly with it being on poles, but its not that.
  17. Not necessarily, but I suspect it may be bamboo
  18. Its not that Andy, but sometimes people do peep
  19. Sorry Roy I missed you first time, nope its not that.
  20. Looks as if it could be Lee, although I'm afraid it is a lousy photo, but its not that. The pole is carried by a man who also carries the box on his back.
