Viewed one side at a time Wally

Convoy markers?
Simon
Another plausible one Simon but not that.
-
A electrical switch of some kind?
Nope not a switch.
-
RADAR field of view marker?
Ingenious thought Lauren but not that.
-
some sort of division/tac signage.
Simon
Sort of looks to be that sort of thing Simon but it isn't.
-
-
Some sort of packing label?
Andy
Andy looks to be that sort of thing but its not.

Lavatories !
Calm down Roy I think it would difficult to use one of these for that purpose.

the cause of stomach problems
Yes well done Wally your persistence has paid off :-D
So yes "Ingestion Problems" although, sanitation, washing, food preparation, insects etc can impinge on this, the chapter covers worms, amoeba, typhoid, dysentery, salmonella, polio, botulism etc

I can't find a specific EMER for Ferret for this mod. The was a general instruction for B vehicles in BAOR & specific vehicles in the UK. This was in EMER WHEELED VEHICLES A 017 Mod Instr No.8 Sept 1978. So I don't know whether your Ferret would have been one of those specific vehicles but that seems to have been the likely time for the mod.

CLIVE having given this some thought as ABD all cover some health issuses is it to do with unit sanitation
Wally that was covered by "A" although this can be related in some instances to that. The clue is in "belly".
-
The thing that above all that disgusted me was that on one BBC bulletin last Saturday this football contract "news" took precedence over news of the 10,000 people believed to have died in the Philippines.
-
the only thing the other three seem to have in common is health or medical
Correct & related to the quotation.
-
is it to do with physical fitness
Wally nope, it's very much a parallel theme to the other three topics of which some may indirectly impinge on this one.
-
is it standing orders
Not that Wally it is closely related to the quote.
-
vermin / pest control?
Not directly
-
Antimicrobial/Antibacterial protection?
Hmm part of that could be part of this broad subject.
-
is it to do with drainage and waste
Not directly Wally.
-
Is it on precautions for cookery, or for washing up afterwards?
Not directly Lauren.
-
Is C valid causes for the issue of a high speed permit / priority landing clearance?
Sorry Lauren missed you there. Nope its not that, lots of people have got close with elements of this rather broad section but not really got to it as many of these chapter titles have a degree of overlap.
-
Apologies for the late arrival to the discussion, but is C anything to do with water purification instructions/standards
Ah well all the easy ones have gone now!
It could be related but not predominantly. The one you suggest is prefixed in the chapter by:
"Water, water everywhere" (Samuel Coleridge Taylor)
But that would have been too easy
-
is it to do with personal hygiene in the field
It could be argued that an element of that could be an influence in this broad issue Wally.

Is C personal hygiene in the field?
It could be argued that an element of that could be an influence in this broad issue Derek.
