Many thanks, I have one in the shed some where

Yes that size does make sense but why isn't it stated, normally they specify everything in every document

I have just been going through the manual for the cooker, in the data page it mentions a shelter but no part number or description.
Assuming a tent of some sort, any clues would be appreciated.

When the Penman was introduced , I emailed them and queried if they would sell me one Ex-Works , answer = yes, and the cost was somewhere 14k to 15k ! I suspect the MOD got a BIG bulk % discount.
Unfortunately for all their good work with specialist vehicles etc. Penman Ltd. went bust.
Even to the day they went bust they didnt change the price, was in about a week after and apart from 2 damaged ones the stock had gone some where, and yes I had permission from the receivers

Yes , you are probably correct. Surveyor should consider himself lucky that he missed this trailer as it was withdrawn from sale. As he has a Defender , he should look for a more in-keeping time line (and tyre size / track) of a widetrack. At least he will be more aware of a bitsa lash-up , although practicable with the tailgate.
Its a 110 I have but was upgraded in operation Tithonous and was in 2 minds if a sankey would be better or stick with my Penman.
Reading this even though my one has a full clansman kit think i will stick to the penman

The cup is probably to hold methylated spirit & wick that is fired to get initial vaporization of the paraffin - then you start pumping.

yes i can see the cup around the rising pipe is charred, it looks a bit like a pre heat, its the thing sloping down that i cant work out, looking at it, it seems burnt, if for a wick it would need one placed every time.
I have emailed the society hopefully instructions as well as what the mystery item is

Traditionally they were known as blowlamps, blow torches were usually gas powered.
Okay, I admit was rushing to see parents but thanks

Just bought a blow torch at a charity shop, images below, what caught my eye was the WD 141 stencil at the side.
Now i seek help from my learned friends again.
1. Any clue what the WD 141 would be for
2. Same with the franked number under the handle, only spotted that after got it to the hotel.
3. Any one have instructions on how to use it, it does not seem to be one with a valve to control flow.
Thanks in advance

Got the thing washed down thought i had taken clear picture of the stencil but no, the NSN looks like 84?X0-90-137-2711, not going to dig the thing out as have been sorting the sheds.
There is also a vehicle registration number JR 08 AB, i have looked online but cant find it in my limited hunts.
Does any one have a manual for this one, yes I know i have asked, and what was the vehicle?
Thanks in advance
