that manual is dated 1942.....so nice and early..also features camo on buildings and weapons.....rifle and field gun.info out of a us ww2 manual -
who bought the very tidy munga on ebay ? £3,600 and change......heavy ! Maybe a forum member ??i do! Any idea where & when these pictures were taken?I will be cross posting to the volkswagens used by the british army thread if you do not mind.

Dont think you can put a realistic price on all the hours of sweat time and effort youve put into yours....anyhow i guess its a labor of love for us munga owners , else we wouldnt be involved with such quirky vehicles........just luv em i guess !!

hi got one these tents in tan / dated 1944......i have four ww2 british army dated 1944 bivi two man tents. Two are coloured tan and the other two are dark brown and both have the mosi nets at both ends.So my questions are:
1. Why the two colours?
2. Is one of earlier production?
3. Which colour is the most desirable in collecting terms?

always found that by being in the a.a {not alcoh. Annon. ! } tho owning a jeep can send you crackers ! ) you do have a reliable free mechanic on tap,5 callouts, and some of the older guys know their onions,either because they used them in service or cos the aa had afew along with landrovers early on......

Hi i lived just round the corner from baptys storage yard !! They had the only surviving jeep tank /a canadian project/interesting !! Mark dineley was the owner /jim dowdall was one of the drivers /recently on milweb selling a jeep trailer i .think. West sussex area/good luck !!!
