  1. As the title suggests, I'm trying to find somewhere that will balance split rims - between us we have a WC51 and a Jeep, both of which develop steering wobble at 40-45mph.

Need somewhere in the SE Kent area.

    Many thanks.

There is a place behind Delting show ground, the Aerodome Trading Esate, not sure what they are called, I've taken the Daf their before.

  2. Just got back from having a final look over the 434, Mark kindly came along to give a informed opinion.

We its a done deal, P13B will be arriving this coming Wednesday, Wayne offered the kitchen sink + taps :-D.

I bought a Zil 131 only to see Howards ad 2 weeks later, always wanted a wrecker. Some time later saw it was still for sale, paid the man & drove it home '130 miles'.

I've been to a couple of events & will be taking it to Faversham at the end of the month if not sold, or to hand over to the new owner . This Saturday we're off up to the tyre fitters, rims off, tubes out & refit.

I think like a lot of you, if I had more space she would be staying, I fancy a bit of a project, but nothing to major.

  8. When I transferred from cavalry to Pay Corps in 1982, I had to be able to type 15 wpm. This was effected by getting us into a classroom every Monday at 0800 to spend an hour being trained to touch-type by a very nice WRAC. I was first first to pass the typing test (achieving 17 wpm) but continued to attend the classes. After all, she was a lovely WRAC. Aah, memories.

    ..sorry couldn't help myself.

  9. Went to see the 434 yeasterday, 242 miles in total, at least the rain had stopped when I arrived.

Not to sure, from what I could see the mechanicals had not been touched for a long time.
