Today will be dirt removal, the start of wash down, once I can remove the drain plugs.

    Weapon of choice to is..

  7. Its been a long day, started at the front, of course, degreased the steering box, then regreased it, pushed out all the old black grease, best buy so far, air grease gun £8.99

While I was doing this, noticed the fuel cutoff cable was not attacted , I take it this attaches to the metal plate on the right.

First filter was NBC, it took longer to get the door open than clean.

    2787902203_455b6842d5.jpg

and this was the condition of both air filters..

..moved on to the fans, this didn't take to long - found a lot of shot pellets. Under the rad cover I have never seen so much mud, stones & leafs, this took an absolute age.

Onward & inward, the biggest challenge.

removal of the drivers seat was a little strained to say the least.

  8. Thanks everyone,

Started the grease up process last night, notice first casuality of the day, you can just see it in the delivery video. From the picture it looks as though only part of it was bonded to the wheel.

Best tool of the moment, new air grease gun - just can't imagine doing this job by hand.

A few bits & bobs in the boot..:-D

  10. Well, there's a turn up for the books, 434 is being delivered on Wednesday (film footage to follow) & the Daf is being collected the same day, RESULT.

432 Mark has offered to drive the 434 form delivery point to the house - when shall I tell him the lane is a large foot path , again pictures to follow.

Copious amounts of tea & stuff!

I'm prepared just in case the locals are out.

    :-D

  11. This is going a bit off topic... but nope, no big garden and no shed either. We do have a couple stored on a farm now, going to put the Sabre there too. Most of our restorations are done on the drive, you just need to be creative with the parking arrangements!

    Chris

Do you have BIG drip trays :yay:
