Barchetta
What is the best fuel and lead additive to use on a 1962 Hotchkiss? Should I use any octane boosters?

Jessie The Jeep
I just use a lead substitue by Morris. I think it's called Zero Lead 2000. Steve
Great War truck
I use a Redex additive in my MB. It works fine. Morris is probably better though, at least that is what the MD told me. We also use paraffin in our FWD Model B (not reccommended for your jeep). Tim (too)
Centurion
I have used a Castrol one in my Hotchkiss which was ok . It comes with or without an octane booster but I didnt notice much difference. It seem expensive but a little goes along way. Im using the redex one now cause it was all that was available but its difficult to tell if its better as I have just set all the valve clearances and done the points and plugs. cheers Centurion

Barchetta
I found a garage just outside Bury St Edmunds which sells leaded fuel, but at £1.45ltr its a bit steep. I might give the Jeep a treat this weekend.
Jessie The Jeep
The additive works out much cheaper, with a mix of 20ml to each 6ltrs of fuel. It costs about £7.00 for 500ml Steve
