FWIW, I came across detailed drawings of the MJ's common FV2408 'tonne+' trailer. The bed size is usually quoted as 2.4 metres square, when they mean 1800x2350(ext), 1780x2304(int) = 2.4 square metres, which is much, much less and, d'uh, a bit tricky to load centrally with useful space over...
