fv1609
Anyone of course can search youtube to find these clips, but I have compiled a series of clips that show sustained views of various Shorlands including Mk3 APC, SB301 & SB401 in the clips below. The first clip is so dedicated to viewing the Shorland it suggests it might be an enthusiast behind the camera! The last three clips seem to be Police vehicles, one without a bumper & a very wobbly front wheel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoS8Y57h6v8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NS84_n44QsI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8FJy6UdGUA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7vR5mF5-k0 I have seen some Series 5 APCs & APVs with the tall observation turret which was also supplied to another country in the region. But the images so far have been blurred & fleeting, unless anyone has found a decent clip? or more Shorland clips?
robin craig
Do you think they were original sales to that country or do you think they are surplus vehicles sold more recently? Looks like they need a bit of TLC, various tyre sizes being used in place of the 9.00 X 16s. R
fv1609
Robin, I believe four SB401 Shorlands were purchased direct in 1982 & some may have been acquired from a neighbouring country a few years later.
