  1. Its a war-time or just post-war 10cwt light-weight trailer designed to carry a generater for airborne use.

Quite a few of these survive because post-war they were fitted with later Coventry Climax Generators which were used for many years.

Look on Milweb for other examples of this family for sale.

    Thank you for interesting info,

I see this trailers was for special purpose, you know more variants?

    Hi owl,

its nice , if you see on my articlec about MWC,

    that you like my work,

    your MWD , now analyze?

Know chassis number is good for restoration becouse from 1940 to 1945,

    MWD were few differences,

for example- dash boards, body, air filters.... etc., etc., etc.

I have now project for chassis MW "late early" (from Poland) by chassis number was build 1941 as MWG,

it was between "early" and full windscreen (two doors) models,

one this "late early" is on Malta museum, in nice condition,(search more pictures this Malta MW)

I wish to communicate with other owners Bedfords MW,

and maybe in future(with rippo and you?) make meeting MWs, for example in Normandy on D-day celebration,

I wish you a successful finnish reconstruction!

I one old atricle i see nice beautiful sentence "Bedford MW is Rolls between military trucks"

    regards
