  2. It does look like the back of a Tiger 1 turret, if you compare the lifting peg position and brackets to this picture of the Vimoutiers tiger.

if it’s an original turret I don’t know, but after having worked on a couple of German vehicles and meet some of the larger collectors I think it could be very plausible that’s it is indeed a tiger turret , there is still quite a lot of German stuff around but it not as public still, as allied stuff, and it’s bloody expensive.

A google Translate gives a list of prohibited items as follows:

     28. Towers for main battle tanks (Not a clue what towers are;  perhaps towers are things that tow tanks)

    This (Türme) means tank turrets

  4. Congratulation with it, it will be a nice addition to Rogaland.
would be possible for you to take some more pictures of the table, in the back,. I made a copy of one a year or so ago, but would like to see if I got the draw correct?

    Cheers Niels

  5. Norway is not a part of the EU so you will have to pay tax.
Furthermore make sure that you have the right export permit on the Dodge, since it is a historic military vehicle, it will require a permit from the Defense museum and the Foreign Office/Ministry.

It is not a problem to get these (it is the sellers job) on something like a dodge, but the processing time can be a bit long.

They had an incident where one creatively exporting some of the Volvo tracked personal carriers to Africa, so I would not try and circumvent the correct papers.

I have imported two vehicles from Norway to Denmark a couple of years ago
