Cheers guys. Prehaps i will give the gas conversion a miss if its going to damage the engine in time. Dont want to be trying to find a replacement or fitting another engine.

Looks complicated to me and exspensive. So i would need that whole unit then? Is there no way of retaining the original carb?

Where would i be able to find the info i need? I have'nt got the funds for a profesional to fit one, so a DIY kit is wot im after aslong as it is'nt to complicated to fit.

Has anybody on here gased a B series engine? Wot with the price of fuel at the moment, it would be nice not to have to worry to much about running costs when shes on the road.

About 4 years ago. My uncle's had several military trucks, At the time i owned a landrover and needed parts. My uncles mate owns wiltshire landrovers so poped round for parts, when i pulled in the yard my attention was grabbed by a flying pig. I didn't know wot it was at the time but i wanted one. so he sold me the MK2 Ambulance he had O3 BK 20 for the bargain price of £600. since then i have been well into military vehicles.

Does anyone know the best way to get rid of rust from a fuel tank? Its the second tank on my pig, dryed up and rusty. Its not excesive just slightly worse than surface rust.
