The rims on the pig came apart as if they were new, a little WD 40 is all that was needed.

No rush Clive, I will have anything you want to get rid of like that.
I am having new angle welded to the side at the mo, then its shot blasting time.

Welcome, Will you be going to Wings and Wheels at Henstridge airfield this weekend as only down the road from you?

Be careful about the colour. Mk1 drivers seat material was crinkley & very dark green. Most of the seats got replaced in the Mk2 with newly manufactured versions with a smoother finish & a horrible lime green colour.
Adam I have a spare Mk2 seat but the internal foam is Mk1.
I could really do with that clive.
How much mate?

Or pay your inernet bill......

staying with the theme of runflats,.............I've picked up a wheel for my Bedford, with knackered 900x16 tyre which has a funflat insert,................am I right in thinking I can use rim without runflat and a normal tubed tyre ??
Andy
Think so all you need is a rubber band around the rim, to stop the tube rubbing.
-
I will have to have a look at that. Thought it mite work with loads of tyre soap. Reffiting will also be a problem or is it easyer?
-
If you find the right material can you let me know, just another job for me to do on a very very long list.
-
I thought about two vehicles one with a strap around the tyre, and one with a strap around the insert, then drive away from each other. just a bit worried it might split the rubber.
-
A walk in the park compaired to mine. Are you covering the seats yourself?
-
It's just going to be blood, sweat and tears then.
-
Its on the pig, iv'e tryed levers and it will not budge.
-
Anyone on here know of a easy way of removing a runflat insert. My local commercial tyre fitters say you need a special machine.
There must be a way to DIY.
-
