I would say if you want it as a Mk1 then try making them, as you say rocking horse poo. Mk2 hatches are prob not hard to come by.

With a turbo the less restriction it has the better.

I was looking at tap and die sets just in case.

Also the oil filter mounting plate needs sorting as 2 of the 3 bolt holes are threaded.

The holes don't quite line up. who ever made it needs a toe up there behind.
