ROST FREI STANL BODEN means "Stainless steel case"
-
I don't think we will find them !
-
It's called RAF Wyton and 117 squadron was flying the DH9 there from 1918 until 1920.
i will try to find the houses.....
-
Blimey, I just looked on google earth at Madingley to see if I could see any similar houses , and there's an airfield just down the road !
-
I have been playing around with the pictures and I think the sign possibly says "Cambridgeshire graneries co."
An internet check seems to show it was near Madingley where the American war cemetery is now.
I may be all wrong of course ! So don't let me lead you in the wrong direction

Hi everyone,
we have an ST200 class fast launch that we know was requisitioned first by the RASC and then transferred to RAF Castle Archdale in Northern Ireland. It was one of the boats that D.H.Lawrence did sea trials in.
its main duties in the RAF was to keep the landing area clear of floating debris to keep the flying boats from Damage.
Anyway, we would love to see any pictures anybody has of her in service , but we cannot be sure of the "ST " number it was given.
She was built as "Kathleen" originally.
I know it's a long shot, but we all are often desperate for the history of our loved possessions an I'm no exception!

Now just deliver it here please.....!

You can give negative for sellers if your not happy, so ask them first if they wish to reconsider the postal charge before you leave their feedback.

Sorry, I meant using some sickoflex type stuff instead of a rubber seal. I have used it I'm my boat and its very neat if you do it carefully.
however I do appreciate you might want to use rubber to be more authentic.
it was just a thought.

Or there's tony, on 07974 329383 , who delivered my anti aircraft gun.

Hi Locolines
Just what I need to tow behind my Canadioan F30 Laat tractor, and I am going on the XXX trip !
Will you have it at war & peace?
Andy
I am afraid our daughter has been most inconsiderate, and is getting married that weekend, so I will be only going on the first day in our car. However, I would like it to go on the trip. I have to get new tyres and some spare wheel bearings first, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be ready.
i just managed to get an original cover for it yesterday for £8.00 !
