  1. Hi Jeremy,

It was nice to meet you at Malvern last Sunday and its good to know that you like the toolbox...

You can always remove the rails and store them safely for when a normal toolbox shows up....

But as we say here its better to have something under your back body then totally nothing....;-)

You dont see it verry often that a person is trying to sell a toolbox for a MWD truck.

    Cheers,

    Louis

Just back from Malvern and hooked up with Louis and I am now the lucky owner of a rear tool bin for the MW

Day out with the shot blaster and a bit of straightening and it should be ok according to Louis this came of an Areoscreen MW which is fitting, big thanks to Louis :

  2. Ah, it could be a J.A.P. as they look very similar to the Petter, your photo did not zoom up so not able to see any details. There were other engine makes including Norman. I recollect working on a JAP one still in service in the late Seventies.

Have had some more contact with the owner and he is willing to make more photo's so that might gives you (us) more info of what type/maker and date it is....

  3. Hi al,

  4. Hi Al,

Those beds have been made in WWII the one you did show on flicker is a proper war time one...i have one like that too, belonging to a Medical Captain with his army number and dated.....

The post war onece do have green canvas instead of the kaky coloured ones.

Its like the folding field beds they are stil been made but originally older dan WWII.

    Cheers,

    Louis

  5. Well my girl das have an early dark brown as a base coulor with Mickey Mouse camo over it.

You can use that trough out the whole war period from Dunkirk till Berlin and cheange only the signs.

But as you know its al what you want to do with your MV.

  6. Hi Tony,

What year is your trailer from..??

I have seen an advertice here in Holland some months ago with excatly the same trailers (2) for sale back then and my feelings said it was post war....also becouse of the man said they came from the Belgian Army...wich isnt a standard becouse the Belgian Army have used Brittish trailer after the war as wel.

    Cheers,

    Louis
