Hi we have no Scammell experience whatsoever... so in at the deepend. we're planning on all of the local shows, the only other will be the GDSF. We also have a Reo M35A2 for any a bit further afield as its faster and being the multifuel, cheaper to run. often if the weather is ok, we,ve done a few runs out on a Sunday for lunch, i dont think it does them good to sit through the winter without being used. having trouble with the drum winch not working at all, so that may be this weekends job if the weather is kind. nice photo, looks like Amberley. my dad has a Plaxton Bedford OB that he used to do the london to brighton in, may have to try and talk him into bringing that along to a few shows. mark

I've bought "Thor" from Ian, picking it up saturday, cant wait....

This was taken the day i picked it up, hadnt been out of the guys garden for over 3 yrs, wouldnt tick over, was just horrible to drive. as time has gone by got used to driving it and never fails to make me smile. since been repainted. While on holiday in dorset last week, on a wet dull day, i bought this... picking it up this saturday... cant wait, its been a very slow week so far. Also comes with a living van.

Hi Everyone, im new to the military vehicle scene, having purchased a Reo M35A2 a few months ago, and being instantly hooked, picking up a Scammell Explorer saturday to add to the collection... in at the deep end springs to mind. lots of very interesting reading. cheers mark
