  4. The 68 patt cadet trousers doesnt have a field dressing pocket on the front r/h side. Whats a crow cap?Is it the same as the crap hats?

Nice!So there was two different types of these pouches with the non angled fixings?One with metal inserts on the sides and one without?Then the fixings were angled(3rd issue) I have a very tatty left hand pouch with the straight fixings and the sides of the pouch top have narrow non metal sides. All ive got to get now is the RH pouch then i have a complete early set.
  8. I think i have a pair of the ripstop trousers...What are the distinguishing features so i can be sure.Taped buttons?What else? I got a pair NOS from my local flea market surplus man:-)
  9. Im just wondering how many different types there are?And what sort of era they were used. So far i have: S95 in tropical and temperate.Ive heard some of this stuff called 'teabag' material??Whats that? S95 in ripstop material. Some of this gear has normal buttons, some the type on tapes...Are the sewn buttons earlier? Desert windproofs(is there a jacket?) and gortex. Thanks:-D

Just thought id write a little introduction.My name is Nige and i reside in sunny old Norfolk.I have a interest/obsession with all thing militaria ww1-to present day.My main interests are post war British uniform which is what led me to this site.
