    A few months back was in Manchester and was surprised and excited to see there was an IWM there(never knew one existed in Manchester) and while there were some nice exhibits there I was quite annoyed to be rudely told by a burly ape of a security guard that I wasnt allowed to take photos???????? Also way too much intercative videos,shows going on for my liking but was still a mainly enjoyable experience but am sure could have been much better.

    Reason im thinking non Parachute Regiment is arent their officers pics a Light Blue backed? Small,sand backed wings and 2 DZ patches removed unfortunately.

    So would I by (if I did)selling the few Mk6 helmets I have in my collection to a third party who then shipped them over to Estonia get in any trouble please? Thanks.

    How bizarre!!!!!! Love the blouse just a bit peeved at the missing label(why would anybody remove it????) and also the missing collar badges.

    Bored this morning so just done a random check of 10 stupidly priced Mk6s on Ebay and the same guy is amongst the high bidders on all of them p***_( 1118) Thanks to Ebay and their wisdom no way of finding who this guy is but I for one would sure be interested to know why the high prices and why bidding on so many??

    The book does indeed sound interesting and thanks for the info. Have an unissued US Variable Body Armour with original box stashed away somewhere.D A few years back started collecting various bits of body armour on a small scale but have given up now as taking up too much room.

    Bizarre to say the least. Must have 5 or 6 of them here,you watch if I was to go to the trouble of putting them on Ebay they would go for peanuts:D:D:D:D

    Not that long ago you couldnt give away Mk6 helmets as nobody wanted them or if you did list them on Ebay would be lucky to get around £10-£15. Anybody else noticed the crazy money most are going for now,£40,50,60,70 quid,more than Para helmets and seen a few sell for more than Mk7 helmets!!!!! What on earth is going on??

    Another uniform that I have no idea why I bought it as have NO interest in Royal Navy stuff but as it looked older I couldnt resist. Any ideas please of rough date etc,take it that its post WW2? Many Thanks

    Th Thanks for the info. As my interest in collection pretty much ends at 1991 I wasnt exactly sure what this vest was and in the past have only ever seen the covers sold,when I saw this complete I couldnt resist. Somebody has mentioned Kestrel? or something but all I have seen doing a quick Google search have a suede patch to one of the shoulders??
