    Just been dug out from the bottom of an unused wardrobe. The one with the elasticated waist and pop stud at bottom of zip(RAMC?) has very nice padded wings.

    Bought around 10 years ago and just dug out of long term storage(well,hidden away at the bottom of a spare wardrobe rammed floor to top with stuff!!!)along with 3 59 Pattern Denisons. Well used,various repairs,few poppers missing,cuffs missing and a period? replacement Lightning Zip. Label faded unfortunately. One of the inner pockets is made from the early hand painted material.

    There are quite a few variations of these and is very confusing,cammo type etc,yours is a 3/4 zip variety.

    Not collecting NZ items as such but just picked this up and very surprised to see how dark the DPM print is and also the fabric,sort of like British Tropical material but slightly thicker. My poxy camera strikes again,colours in reality are much darker than they show up here.

    As I have said before I tend not to get excited by the actual DPM print,colours,shapes,dots or whatever I buy an item for the garment but this DDPM business got me curious so dug out what I had close to hand of what I have in DDPM shirts(all pre S95 type as have no interest in post 1991) and ignoring the print,cammo etc have noticed on the label of one that it appears to be AMMENDMENT No2 to the spec. To my untrained eye both seem the same,same maker,same buttons,pockets,pocket flaps etc??

    Just arrived. Must say I hardly ever take much notice of labels or makers but happened to notice on this one SUPERCRAFT GARMENTS LTD 1 and checked another and saw that it was SUPERCRAFT GARMENTS LTD 2. Any ideas,2 factories or something?

    Hello Pete,no idea about WW2 Wac uniforms Im afraid but on mens WW2 4 pkt tunics and Ike jackets the makers/spec label can sometimes be found inside an inner pocket so have you checked inside any and all pockets of the jackets incase?
