I for my sins haul a bus round London at the moment. BUT in real life when at 'Home' in Jersey spend more time under the ground than above it. :angel:

I use standard Green flag for the Dodge, she's at the 2.5 ton limit. The 101 Ambulance at 3 tons uses Roadsure, so far one gone wheel and no spare. Recovery was quick and drama free. Worth the money when you see commercial costs. Roadsure are also very kind to me when the ladies go abroad. Green flag love the Dodge, she's one of thier oldest customers.

Its not the Archer only two of those were built obviously one at Duxford, other is at Firepower. Probably a Bofor, notice how the neutrals make the best guns? Any data playes at all?

Being awkward. A1944 Dodge WC51, American in British Colours, a Land Rover 101 ambulance, still functional, and DVLA accepted as an ambulance. No tax, Class 4 MOT and no Dartford Toll charges or Congestion charge. :-D Helps make up for about 8 to the gallon :oops:

Look in Therouex's books 'Wireless for the Warriors' that will give you a full layout. 19 base boards are wooden, helps with various earth and faradic problems. There is a good illustration in the book so you could make one. I have mounted mine in a made to measure cage to make it 'portable'.

I am humbly grateful and thank you all. It sounds like I will be quite at home. I probably know some you from the mud anyway. If someone could be kind enough to explain the 'idiot' level and I mean idiot, way to post photos avatars etc. I'm happy to oblige. I'm often seen scuttling behind the bushes at shows with a camera.

I am Tony and have Military Vehicle Syndrome. My symptoms are a dodge WC51 and a Land Rover 101 ambulance. Side effects include fascination with anything that goes bang, and a house full of kit ' that may come in handy'. Not to mention a modified Range Rover and a modified 109 Safari. Can anyone help? :dunno:
