Will you be able to run her? I sold a Tornado GR1 a few years ago, it only went for £10,000 they're just to difficult to strip.
The trouble is, it is only an ornament and £10k is a lot of money to have sitting around - plus you need a very big garden!

Awesome thread Phil.

A beautifully restored piece, well done

I hope the organisers get someone with an earthmover to fettle the arena

Neil,
I think the flashers don't work because Leds don't have the required resistance or current draw; no doubt someone better qualified than me will be along soon to confirm or correct.
The only thing with flashers is that they need to be between 60 & 120 flashes per minute

Certainly no offence taken, I just thought it was a useful little charger to keep the vehicles running

On sale in Lidl this week from today a nice compact 6v/12v pulse battery charger with maintain facility. Totally sealed , so waterproof. £13.
I have bought one for a permanent fit into my vehicle. Seems like a good buy.

Superb, well done young lady.

Oh, well saved that man

I have a .410 bored Lee Enfield .303.
Smoothbore, mag welded and single shot only. Great fun little gun that I have used for clays, rabbit and pigeon. No recoil at all as it is very heavy compared to the cartridge it now fires. It even came with sling and bayonet but I have never has to use the blade to finish off anything!

Thanks Chris. I am happy that this one is genuine but would be interested in pictures or details of the other ones, if anyone has any.

I looked at the Welrod in the Warminster collection and recently bought one from D&B (thanks Dan) who did a very good price on a batch that appeared from somewhere.
Fascinating little gun. They were rumoured to have been used in the Falklands.

'Mr Moore thinks business will be harder after Brexit'
I can tell him that business would be much better if he ever replied to numerous serious enquiries about buying vehicles from him.........

Cement mixer and soft sand polishes them up wipe with oily rag occasionally.

Do they charge to pack stuff up?

That's a jolly high estimate, seeing what others have sold for from disposal agents

Thanks Adrian, I will try that.
Cheers Chris, whatever lifted the dammed thing would certainly fly one wing low if it unless there were two or it was belly mounted, its bloody heavy!

I have installed a new garden ornament in the front garden - with the approval of Mrs Topdog........
It needs a bit od a repaint so, does anyone know the colour or code etc of the blue that practice munitions are painted?
I bought a Harrier 1000lb bomb from Withams and stuck it upright on a concrete plinth. Just need to repaint it and stick the house number on - jobs a carrot.
If I could remember how to upload a photo I would do it.
Cheers
Dave

I speak from (painful) experience. I put 4 on a normal charger and knackered the lot used on a 432. Fortunately 2x heavy duty car batteries worked fine.
