I am sure there was one on Milweb recently which didn't sell

Absolutely brilliant mate well done to her.

Thanks guys interesting thread. I had no idea that kit was so basic even recently

The tragedy is, that I am shortly to blow up an armoured Landie with all those bits - and it all has to go skywards

I totally agree. Even memories of sitting in a slit trench on Salisbury plain in winter with an SLR in my hand come back as good ones.

I am sure Marcus Glenn has them

Have a look to see if the catch is jammed and also inspect the sliding part of the cantilever which I think is on the top rail. Try pulling the cross rail apart as you push down but for goodness sake use cord and don't get fingers anywhere near that mechanism unless you want a pair of three fingered gloves for christmas

I think that Withams have some 9x20 on the auction at the moment
-
I agree with Andy - poor earth or contact breaking down somewhere my red light came on with generator panel brushes but no doubt Richard will be on soon to help

Thanks Andy, I never thought about that when tensioning the 432 track. Amazing what can kill you.

Easiest way to sort it and probably the cheapest in the long run would be a Good luck anyway

Thanks for the update Phil, I was getting withdrawal symptoms from not hearing. Once again doing an amazing job.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but I always kept a working 'old' plug in the toolkit as a spare.

I am looking to bid on an item which is being auctioned on Thursday 25th from a saleroom in Honiton. The item is boxed 85cm long and reasonably heavy.
I don't suppose there is someone who could collect it and either bring to W&P or store it until I come down that way. Needless to say payment for fuel & time. Collection would have to be within about 10 days from the auction.
Cheers

That looks like a foundry or blacksmiths hammer

Welcome. Bound to be loads of questions coming your way...

I don't know why they bleeped it out - we all know what he said....

Hi Jim,
Not sure about Sun gear but I have some small planet gears knocking around.

Thanks guys.
I take it Clive that you believe that it is probably not a British night vision piece?
I was planning on tracking down the original equipment and having some spare tubes.

A certain well known military supplier has image intensifier tubes for sale.
NSN 5960-17-037-7118 made by Phillips.
Any idea what piece of kit they come from?
Cheers

I am sure that someone better qualified than me will be along soon but I think that a common error with B60 timing is that it is often 180 degrees out.

I am changing all my vehs to cherished as you can drive any other vehicles owned by another, who is also insured with them.
The prices seem keen and Christian is very helpful over any problems.

You just cannot help yourself can you....................
