  1. You won't find them as Ferret items. The ebay seller below has the master cylinders and servos NOS.

As everyone else has said it would be worth replacing the rubber and steel brake pipes.

Andy, I think it was you who pointed me to these guys when I relaced the master cylinder (causing that odd issue of the brake lights coming on when left for a day or so). Delivery was real quick, easy to fit etc...just make sure its the 1.5 inch one you order as they also do a 1.25inch

    in fact..this one:

  2. I would go along with the comments about running them on a regular basis, my 101 servo leaks if left standing, but seals itself if used. My old ferret would hate being left standing, especially the gears and points....best thing I did was convert the 101 to electronic ignition.

The other thing with the lightweight, it cannot really be mistaken for anything but military :)

  3. I know. I have been on the end of idiotic behavoiur from other road users at times too. BUT, Keep clam & behave with dignity, courtesy & Quiet Pride when you are using your beloved vehicle on the pubic Highways.

Mmmmm...I think for the most part we HAVE to? Driving military vehicles, whether a landrover or armour teaches you how to drive properly again. I for one am 100 times more aware of my surroundings with regards road conditions, stopping distances, pre-empting others actions etc. I do not have the luxury or ABS, airbags etc...and it has certainly made me a calmer and more considerate driver.....I enjoy driving something different, and would certainly not let a bad driver ruin my trip out....like you say "let it go"

  4. Sorry Degsey, I was just trying to funny :)

I agree there is more dishonesty these days, and I think some of it is people are more transient these days (not only moving houses/towns/counties) but also countries...so fewer folk look out for each other.

The other is there is that technology allows people to scam other people without meeting face-to-face...its easier i guess if you dehumanise your dishonesty?

And finally, how else will I be able to transfer my money out of the country due to the dictatorship, straight into your account if that pleasing your kind self.

  5. There is a scam going on at the local Tesco carpark here right now....so be aware!!!

You will be approached by two tall blond Ukrainian girls asking directions, as they lean in your window they will force there way into your car then get you to drive them back to their place. They then spend the night having their evil way with you. Its only on the way home that you realise they have stolen your wallet.

It happened to me last Tuesday, Thursday and two times on Friday.

ps...anyone know where I can buy some cheap wallets?
