The Forum is not the MVT, we are still all friends here. The senior members will remember the MVT you must be joking post war thread, In recent years with new blood thing have changed but there will always be some dinosaurs out there.

Another year for this increasingly popular event. Vehicles and re-enactors welcome. Free admission to those attending vehicles or in period costume. Lots of activities all over the site. BBMF applied for.Lots of stallholders. More details to follow as they are confirmed.

Just seen that the 2 remaining relics of Pounds Yard, the huge LARCs have been moved on due to redevelopment of the site. I would post a link, but I'm on mobile device and I haven't worked out how to do it yet...

Im interested to see the amount of Morris armoured cars for sale, I can only think of about 4 or 5 in the UK these days.

Following on from the Time Team prog, it's the website for the DAG. Recently uncovered a Mk1a field gun off Salisbury Plain.

Time Team this Sunday features Afghan Vets using archaeology as a rehab tool. It has been very successful for the men involved any many have gone on to pursue it as a hobby/career. Should be worth a look.
