I needed a carb for my striker so bought a couple , I expect them to be knackard but paid little money for them , hopefully will get lucky with the carbs

There are a few at auction at the end of the month . how do They value . I am intersted if a good price but cant find any advertised to judge prices . Anyone any ideas on values , for an average condition unit

If its for private use you dont have a problem . Hire&Reward your screwed if stopped by Vosa .

It dosent really matter how many seats it says on your V5, Vosa work of seating space , they go by 400mm per person . if your passenger seats total exceeds 8 passengers then its capable of carrying more and you are a psv and as such you need a psv licence , insurance and COIF. dosent matter if you only ever carry 8 or under. I know of many that have been cought out by this and prosecuted . answer is to remove some seats so only 8 can be seated.

If in doubt on any hire&Reward issues join limo chat forum , same as here all very helpfull , but you wont get the answers you want . Many people spending 100,000 of thousands of pounds have tried to do what you are trying and failed . any many still do it illegally though.

Does anyone know the battery number for a civilian battery thats close on size to the nato battery so it fits in the boxes .

Fitted new pump sunday , runs a treat .

Went to Marcus Glens for my first time yesterday . Picked up some parts . 10/10 very helpful and full of knowledge and willing to share it.

I see there are 2 in whithams . what are they like for parts.

CVRT tracks , how easy are they to get hold of and what should i be paying . Regards Dan

There is a small light unit in front of the driver on top of the indicator it has 3 small lights red/yellow/green. what are these for.

Chris the top hat reply is sounding good as the striker has been towed around . not actually sure what they are ,what they look like and there location . will visit the striker tomorrow after work and take another look . if they are removed is it a case of just getting replacements .

ps. is the master cylinder a cvrt part or is it fitted to other vehicles

Hi a couple of questions on my fv102 . Just got it the other day , it was a non runner , looks like been stood for some time , anyway after 1 hr and stripping the carb we got it running .

Never owned one of these or had anything to do with one . looking at the controls there are 3 foot pedals left gear change right accelerator and middle not sure ????? fells like nothing there. . then theres the 2 yokes are they just the steering brakes to operate the very small brake pads on the output shafts . ?

Then to the left there a ratchet handle looks like some kind of hand brake . ???

I know this may sound stupid to most but cant get the thing to move and just wondering if I am missing something.

when i engage gear the shafts out of the box turn but no track movement could there be somethng on the final drives that needs switching as it has been towed around for transport .

And I will try and get a handbook.

I have relatively new to military vehicles Located in Manchester , My collection so far 2xfv432 , Supacat ATMP, Ferret, Hummer H1 and just got a Non Runner Striker from whithams , Well it is running now just had sticking Carb ,needs a good servicing etc and a few bits and bobs . I do have a Field to play so if anyone local wants to come and play give me a shout.
