  1. Hiya I will be very surprised if the Beaver has a multi-plate clutch as I thought the Bedford RL had a single plate clutch. Unfortunately the authority on beavers has been banned - Antarmike. Mine has had a new clutch 3 years ago - 2 1/2 before I got it so cannot guarantee for sure. Can't be much of a job to take it apart to find out. Let us know what you find....
  2. If my memory serves me correctly, the two windscreens were slightly angled away from each other so giving the appearance of one missing. I (think) I am proud to say that I was the very first person in the British Army if not the world to knacker the gearbox selector on a crusader. On the test track at CVD Ashchurch when I could not get it into gear on a corner and gave it a little too much grief:embarrassed:. Probably about '75 or '76
