About 4/5 years ago I came to the realisation that my year had ceased to run Jan-Dec and had begun to begin/end at some point mid-July. I know a lot of people have issues with Belters, but I just love it. Never actually do anything at it except camp, drink, buy stuff, natter to fellow eejits and take too many photos (in roughly that order). It's my annual holiday and I wouldn't swap it for a month in the Bahamas, all-in, for the price of a beer in Kitcheners. SWMBO has been last few years, and I think she's actually annoyed about not being able to make it this summer... Although she won't admit as much. She got a ATS working dress last year and strutted around like she owned the place... Ahh well. I make it 27 more sleeps till I get on the Sleazyjet...

Should you fancy something a wee bit different this August... The UMVC Annual Show takes place on the Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th August on the North West coast on N. Ireland, directly between the resorts of Portrush & Portstewart. It's an ever expanding show, featuring vehicles from all over island and hopefully this year, beyond. The usual things with wheels & tracks painted green, re-enactors/living history types, stalls, food and general MV related shenanigans. Ummm.... Hi! Eventually got around to registering, although I've been reading the forum for yonks. Me= 36, in Belfast, own a near terminal Lightweight (will get it seen to eventually), Principle interest is the Cold War period with a particular "fetish" for NBC/CBRN/CD items. I like beer and kebabs.
