HE162 re fitted at Farnborough for evaluation the original ejector seat was removed never to be seen again biggest loss due to the glue holding the wings on failing Well I tried!!!!!

Here is a hint on our Rapier 101s FFR the radio fitted above the battery box I drilled out the rivets on the side battery bays and fitted two hinges and a wing nut lock or hasp to makes the battery more accessable so if anyone has a LHD one with this mod its ex 12 reg12 Bty and also glued a skin of rubber matting on the sides as I tended to arc my spanner trying to take it out. The REME Tech wagons had stores bins fitted inside but didnt look different from our FUT (fire unit tractors) but their MST (MIssile supply trailers) had a plastic canopy fitted as these were also full of stores/black boxes

This is the oil filter section the ring is a cast alloy that tends to snap when the screws are tightend

I think the brass plate is the one to go with.

That way your remembering and if some one has an intrest they can see it but your not shoving it out in bad taste. Just a thought

The carb and tappets

This box was less than 3 years old Ford Transit and it happend as I was losing power due to a fuel blockage I belive fuel was going through but not enough when I cleaned out the filter I thought I had sorted it but several bangs later you can see the results I will try and post some more on the walk round of the bits to take off and clean

Sorry but this bloke was well known around the area he had lots of them and K9s all yellow sitting and rotting away in some fields he wouldnt even talk about them let alone sell any
