Mike, its the wheel and remains at the top of that post that could do with naming , I've been searching all the gallerys for a few vehicles " which is quite hard at the moment seem to have ARC eye or grinding spark maybe got under PPE  just the one eye but not nice" anyhow give up on these next two,
Half cab looks too have been another crane

Hi , surely there must be a few more to go in here , any pics of hardtop champs
-
That looks a great job guys
-
Hi all , I have taken a photo of a front wheel , In the hope someone might recognize what the truck might be ??? I'm going to be calling to this place soon to get more photos and will try again to see if some parts can be bought
rear end of chassis with axle set-up
as you can see front axle which told me what the vehicle believe its from the same Scammel as the cab

Mark why should we expect it to be dissapeared by morning ? , looks very nice would it be posible to take a picture of the engine and post it on here ?
-
Welcome in Paul, that looks a great project , dont mind the Russian English there are some good translation tools on the internet
-
Hi welcome in Ian , Don't mind Tony he likes singing about the Dodges , Can't remember how the song goes but the chorus was somet like
standard toolbox " Duck tape adjustable wrench Large hamer Charlie Band fixes the Dodges today " :-D,

. I have seen it written that the subsidy engine didn't need a pump at all and would survive quite happily relying only on a thermo-syphon.
Would not have thought there would be many latter vehicles that would use this means of cooling system but the Munga does ,

hi all got permission to add another pic but was asked to remove something in the background , think this is from a Scammell Explorer
-
hi very nice these Scammells can remember climbing over one as a child with something like a drilling rig on the back , putting a pick up in Scrap yard relics that might be of interest
-
Hi Matt, welcome in, a big step from a landy to a Matador
-
I know on the Unimog 404 they had a different cam to derate the engine , so maybe jag may have done something like this ,,,
-
No, the cockpit was dry.
Here's a stop-frame animation of the lowering operation -
nice bit of footage put together ,, what I thought looked like condensation must be the way the camera flash caught the paint
-
I've spoted a problem , once these parts are fitted you will not be able to see them again , great work , balancing would not think at that speed it would be of to much concern unless out quite a bit ,
if you had a lightwieght lathe that could spin just about a thousand RPM it might give a clue how much out it is , also like you say if you roll it across the surface plate sevral times and put a dab of paint on at BDC it would give a bit of an idea
-
 Not having seen a Vulcan close up or with anything to give a gauge to ones size , its a lot bigger than I first thought , hope they can sort the damage out ok ,, when you were in the cockpit was the dash panel covered in condensation ?
-
:-D that almost looks too nice :-D , looks like the jib will come in handy changing wheels , could it also remove unwanted passengers ,

Hi all, I went to one many miles from the south , in Darlington trying to find a coat like one I used to have in the mid eighties , fishtail parker extreme weather , chap said he'd not had any and did not recall seeing one like the one I described ,, I got mine and quite a few others by chance when a military truck was chucking a load out at a rubbish tip , a lot were deliberately covered in red die ,

What annoys me more is when people won't let anything go at all. Most of these people have yards full to the brim of bits and pieces, and they just say "Oh I'm going to do that one day" or "that's next on my list". Hacks me right off.:computerrage: But then again, it's their kit, it's their decision. :coffee:
yes all to true, and you go back many years later and the object has not moved and their still saying I'm doing that one next , me and a couple of friends call one bloke "Doing that one after dinner" because thats what he says about everything in his yard ,, another is I've made millions over the years , yet lives in a static thats dropping to bits , POA I think when this is in an advert you only get callers that are really keen for the item that is for sale , and not people that just want to call to say they used to have one of them ,, can't say I've used the term
-
:)its looking good how long as it taken you to get this far ,
-
Hi all, Richard that seems a plausible answer ,,
-
I want to say Militant for the middle picture?
I think its been cut through the chassis and its upside down , so laid on the chassis , I'm not sure what its from and can take a long time searching through the posts to find out ,, any clues to the engine it was a good size so maybe from a good size truck ,
Here's a question that I keep asking myself why are military engines a lighter shade of green ? even my munga engine is done like this
-
hi , two strokes  , said I'd never have another one then bought the Munga Is the slide a flat or cylindrical one ,, because I've had the cylindrical ones where the slide pin has worn letting the cylinder to turn so the tick over adjuster pin ends up on the bottom of cylinder slide :-( just checked back your slide is shut ,, next two stroke problem air leaks in crank case IE case gaskets head gasket ,, and the best one that every one overlooks crank bearing seals , just helped a neighbor rebuild a voskod because he was having a job to get it going , He said he'd tried all sorts I said strait away crank seals ,, runs well now there replaced

. I shall have to try being a bit heavier footed and get a friend to follow to make sure its not the speedo thats out!
If not i;ll get MTV to pimp my TUM
surely if the speedo was out you'd not be holding the trafic back ,, a friend has just fitted a discovery rear axle and swaped the front diff , he does not to carry a lot of wieght but does quite a few miles and is better for cruising and MPG , not sure if he changed speedo ,
