A few days ago we learned Jeff had passed away, aged 102.
He was the last WW2 veteran I knew well, meeting him in the Netherlands and at W&P several times.
He was in the BEF and fought throughout North Africa and Western Europe and was awarded the Military Medal.
A book has been written with his story;
Fighting Hitler from Dunkirk to D-Day: The Story of Die Hard Jeff Haward by Neil Barber and Jeff
I'll attach a photo of Jeff sitting in the back of the Dodge with me behind the wheel in 2014. (Photographer unknown). Photo of jeff in wheelchair by me.
We knew he would be in Vught in 2014 and "kidnapped" him because we already knew him.
Rest in Peace Jeff.

Wouldn't it be a idea to publish a book with these?

Just noticed in another topic. Looks like a sand ladder?

How did you manage to get stuck?

Some years ago in the Ardennes at a 17th Airborne weekend.
In a barn a young re-enactor is using the flat side of his fighting knife to tighten on his shoe laces (no idea why).
My friend and I look at each other thinking or saying he will hurt himself.
At that moment the knife slips from his laces shooting up into his face to his eye.
He actually cut the outside of his eyelid drawing a single drop of blood. Luckily nothing more.
It scared the excrement out oo everybody who saw it...
I am sure he will never do that again.

Love the attention to detail. Especially the guy on the left wiping/touching his brow.

Well, not that bad but my hands were black and greasy after helping removing the gearbox from my brothers jeep.

Things do tend to get a bit too busy at times don't they. Especially with too many projects.
-
You could even circumvent it by filming your screen. Not the best quality but still.
-
Looking good.
Just goes to show that you can keep busy on the same vehicle. if you want.

That is impressive, great to see a vehicle doing what it was intended for.
The transporter I presume, not the tank. People might get upset when you use a tank for its intended purpose...
OK, I'll get my coat.😳

I've seen it on Marks channel too. Surely someone will save it.
