That Sexton looks really happy in the snow, Its probably about 65 years since its seen that much of it bearing in mind it was built in Canada (snowy) Shipped to England for War in Northern Europe then sold to Portugal (not very snowy) Re sold to Georgia USA ( not very snowy ) then brought back to southern England ( not normally snowy ), Nice pics well done,
  4. Seco purchased 46 sextons from Portugal in 1983, about 38 or so were cut up for parts for mining and logging machines that used the wheels and tracks from the Sherman family of vehicles, 3 or 4 were bought by collectors over the years, 4 then remained, 3 were bought by us 2 years ago and ( after lots of hassle with paperwork and export licences etc ) are now on route to england and the last 1 is on its way to holland, Regarding prices, 2 years ago a nice sherman was £ 70.000 now its more like £ 200.000
  5. Hi Steve, The Cletrac that was used went to belgium about 3 years ago, 1 of the M6 chevys used (there were 2 ) is in rowlands castle now, All the bomb trolleys are in our yard at chichester, As is the thompson 3 wheeled aircraft refueller (possibly for sale ), The vehicle co-ordinator for the film was Pete Tombs who along with us (Hughes movie supplies ) supplied all the vehicles for it, Larry carny was a jeep owner/driver working for Pete, hope this helps, ps, I think that the Gmc workshop truck has since been melted down,
